Abilities
The turret covers a much wider radius and the damage bonus it gives rises, so it holds a lane rather than a corner.
He moves considerably faster while near his own booster, which is what makes standing by the turret worthwhile.
Teleports 8-Bit straight to his damage booster, provided the turret is within range of him.
Fires one attack made of far more lasers than usual, at the cost of an ammo bar.
The booster gains health and starts firing long-ranged beams of its own, turning it into a second attacker.

A range is the trophy count 8-Bit was actually on when each match was played, so switching it changes which matches are counted — never how strong the evidence has to be.

Playing 8-Bit
reviewed 19 Jul 2026A ten-tile turret of a brawler who plants a damage-boosting booster and buffs the whole team from behind it.
Early game
Place the booster before the first contest rather than after it, since at 580 movement speed he arrives too late to react to anything.
Positioning
One tile behind the booster and never further, because his own value is a slow ten-tile spray and the aura is the reason he was picked.
Using your Super
Put the booster where two teammates can hold ground next to it, not where he personally wants to stand; a booster in a lane nobody uses does nothing at all.
Common mistakes
- Dropping the booster deep in enemy territory where it dies before anyone benefits
- Walking out of the aura to chase a kill he has no speed to finish
- Treating the ten-tile range as safety when he cannot retreat from anything
- Open maps with one long lane his six beams can cover the whole length of
- Heist, where a fixed booster behind a fixed lane multiplies every attacker
- Alongside teammates who fight at range and can stand inside the aura
