Abilities
Reviving a teammate restores Doug to full health, so the revive pays for the fight that caused it.
Every attack heals Doug a little, whether or not it connects with anyone.
His next attack heals allies for twice as much, but does no damage to enemies at all.
His next attack deals twice the damage, but stops healing allies for that one shot.
His Super also leaves a hot dog that makes his allies mirror his attacks while it is standing.
Recommended builds
reviewed 19 Jul 2026Team modes where bringing a dead teammate back is worth more than any damage he could deal.
Lineups where he is the closest thing to a tank and has to hold ground himself.
Brawl Ball, where a teammate returning instantly turns a lost scramble into an equaliser.
Doug by trophy range
All modes · Every trophy range · 8–20 Jul
A range is the trophy count Doug was actually on when each match was played, so switching it changes which matches are counted — never how strong the evidence has to be.
Playing Doug
reviewed 19 Jul 2026A 5,200-health support who swings at close range and can bring a fallen teammate back rather than heal one who is still alive.
Early game
Trade at the choke to charge the Super, since the revive is only useful if it is available at the moment somebody dies.
Positioning
Close to whichever teammate is taking the most risk, because he has to be near them when they fall for the Super to mean anything.
Using your Super
The revive is worth more than any heal, so spend charge carefully and hold it for the teammate whose death would lose the objective.
Common mistakes
- Spending the charge on incidental healing and having nothing when the carry dies
- Playing at the back like a healer when his health pool belongs at the front
- Reviving into a fight that is already lost, which just repeats the death
- Team modes where a returning teammate turns a lost fight into a held objective
- Brawl Ball, where a carrier who dies at the net comes straight back
- Alongside brawlers who take fights he can stand behind
By mode
A revived teammate arrives before the counter-attack has even started.
Holding a circle is a numbers game, and he changes the numbers back.
