GadgetExtra Mustardmore healing on the ally he is already standing next to
GearSuper Chargethe revive is spent charge, so charge is lives
GearHealthhe has to survive to be standing where the ally fell
HyperchargeFree Toppingsturns one Super into support for the whole push rather than one body
Front-line DougRecommended build

Lineups where he is the closest thing to a tank and has to hold ground himself.

Star PowerSelf Servicea 5,200-health support who can top himself up is a frontliner rather than a follower
GadgetDouble Sausagecovers two teammates in the same push instead of choosing between them
GearShieldhis 3.33-tile swing means he is always in range of theirs
GearSpeedhe has to be beside whoever is about to die
Revive escortRecommended build

Brawl Ball, where a teammate returning instantly turns a lost scramble into an equaliser.

Star PowerFast Fooda carrier who dies at the net comes back before the counter-attack starts
GadgetExtra Mustardkeeps the carrier alive through the goal-mouth scramble
GearSuper Chargehe wants a revive banked for every attack
GearHealthhe stands in the net alongside the carrier
HyperchargeFree Toppingssupports the whole attacking trio at once

How to play it

Close to whichever teammate is taking the most risk, because he has to be near them when they fall for the Super to mean anything.

The revive is worth more than any heal, so spend charge carefully and hold it for the teammate whose death would lose the objective.

Common mistakes

  • Spending the charge on incidental healing and having nothing when the carry dies
  • Playing at the back like a healer when his health pool belongs at the front
  • Reviving into a fight that is already lost, which just repeats the death

Reviewed recommendations, not win rates: Brawl Stars never reports which loadout a player had equipped in a match, so nobody can measure one.
