Abilities
Allies standing near Gene heal continuously. The effect does not apply to Gene himself.
His hand deals damage as well as pulling, so a landed grab now opens with a hit of its own.
Shoves every nearby enemy several tiles away, and heals Gene a little if at least one brawler was in range.
Fires homing missiles at every visible enemy in a wide radius, dealing more the closer the target is.
The next Super throws three hands at once, so a miss with the middle one can still catch someone.
Recommended builds
reviewed 19 Jul 2026The default: heal your team and pull one enemy out of position per fight.
When the team already has healing and he should be adding pressure.
Brawl Ball, where one pull removes the goalkeeper at the decisive moment.
Gene by trophy range
All modes · Every trophy range · 8–20 Jul
A range is the trophy count Gene was actually on when each match was played, so switching it changes which matches are counted — never how strong the evidence has to be.
Performance by mode
2 modesPlaying Gene
reviewed 19 Jul 2026A support whose shot splits into a spread at long range and whose Super is a hand that pulls one enemy to him.
Early game
Shoot down the longest lane available so the split covers ground and charges the Super; unsplit shots at close range are wasted.
Positioning
Play at mid-to-long range where the split is at full width, and keep a wall behind you because the pull is a two-way commitment.
Using your Super
Pull the brawler your team can actually kill — pulling their tank into your backline is a gift, and pulling an assassin is worse.
Common mistakes
- Pulling a tank, which delivers a frontline brawler directly into the squishy half of your team
- Using the Super the instant it charges rather than waiting for the isolated target
- Playing close enough that his shot never splits
- Against a marksman playing far back, who his Super can drag into the whole team
- Long lanes, where his shot has room to split and cover width
- Alongside burst damage that can kill whatever he pulls
By mode
One pull removes the goalkeeper at exactly the moment the shot goes in.
Pulling their highest-star brawler out of cover is the fastest way to swing the score.
