Abilities

Star Power
Pit Stop

Raises the number of posts he can have planted at once, so he covers a wider route.

Star Power
Tickets Please!

Enemies he charges through lose a third of their ammo, and that ammo goes into his own bar.

Gadget
Rerouting
10s cooldown

Removes his nearest post and hands his Super straight back, which is how he moves a badly placed one.

Gadget
Ghost Train
17s cooldown

His next charge can connect to posts on the far side of walls, so the route ignores cover entirely.

Hypercharge
Full Steam Ahead!
+30% stats while active

His next charge runs without a distance limit and leaves damaging steam trailing behind him.

A range is the trophy count Chuck was actually on when each match was played, so switching it changes which matches are counted — never how strong the evidence has to be.

How to counter Chuck

Playing Chuck

reviewed 19 Jul 2026

A controller who plants posts on the map and charges between them, damaging and shoving everything on the line.

Early game

Plant the first post somewhere safe and the second one forward; the line is his map control, and a line that only exists in his own half achieves nothing.

Positioning

On or near a post at all times, because his charge only travels along the line and a Chuck away from it is a slow brawler with a 6.67-tile attack.

Using your Super

A post is placed infrastructure, not damage, so put it where he will want to arrive rather than where the current fight happens to be.

Common mistakes

  • Planting both posts in the same corner, which gives him nowhere useful to charge to
  • Charging into their whole team because the line happened to point there
  • Standing off the line with a 2-second reload and no way to close distance
  • Long lanes he can run a post line down
  • Brawl Ball, where a post behind the enemy goal makes a charge into a scoring run
  • Modes with a fixed point, since a post beside it is permanent presence

By mode

Brawl Ball

A post past the halfway line turns every recovery into a counter-attack.

Gem Grab

A post beside the mine means he can return to it from anywhere on the map.
