Playing Mr. P

reviewed 19 Jul 2026

A controller who throws a bouncing suitcase and builds a base that keeps sending porters at the objective without him.

Early game

Get the base down early and behind cover; the porters are slow to matter, so a base built late is a base that never pays for itself.

Positioning

Between the base and the objective, close enough to defend the base and far enough that his suitcase can still reach the fight at seven tiles.

Using your Super

The base is a placement decision, not a burst: it wants to be behind a wall the enemy has to walk around, on the side of the map his team already holds.

Common mistakes

  • Rebuilding the base in the open where it is destroyed before it has spawned a second porter
  • Aiming the suitcase at a lone target when the bounce was set up to hit two
  • Defending the base so hard that he stops contesting the objective it was built for
  • Modes with one fixed objective the porters can path towards unattended
  • Maps with cover behind which the base cannot be shot at directly
  • Against teams with no way to break a base quickly from range

By mode

Gem Grab

A base beside the mine means the enemy is always fighting one extra body.

Heist

Porters walk at the safe on their own, so his damage continues while he is behind a wall.
