How to counter Lola

Playing Lola

reviewed 19 Jul 2026

A damage dealer with a six-jewel volley at nine tiles, whose Super leaves a clone that fires at anything walking past it.

Early game

Poke down the lane to charge the Super, then place the clone at the flank the team is not watching; her damage before the clone exists is unremarkable.

Positioning

On the opposite side of the objective from her clone, so the enemy is caught in a crossfire rather than able to walk out of both angles at once.

Using your Super

The clone is a placed threat, so put it where enemies must pass rather than where the current fight is, and remember it is also her way of moving across the map.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping the clone next to herself, which gives the enemy one angle to avoid instead of two
  • Leaving the clone behind when the fight has moved to the other side of the map
  • Fighting at close range where six jewels have not spread enough to hit twice
  • Fixed objectives where the clone covers one angle and she covers another
  • Heist, since the clone attacks the safe while she reloads behind cover
  • Maps with two approaches, so the enemy has to answer both of her at once

By mode

Hot Zone

The clone contests the circle even while she is walking back from a death.

Heist

A clone parked at the safe keeps damaging it through her whole reload.
