Abilities
The gold that scatters from a landed hit spreads much wider and in more clumps, punishing anyone standing behind the target.
The mortar damages and knocks back enemies where it lands, so placing it is itself an attack.
Drops a barrel that blocks enemy fire, and which she can also shoot herself to burst her own gold pouches on demand.
Her mortar fires on every visible enemy in range in quick succession, rather than waiting on its own timer.
The next mortar is larger and fires two shells per volley instead of one.

A range is the trophy count Penny was actually on when each match was played, so switching it changes which matches are counted — never how strong the evidence has to be.

reviewed 19 Jul 2026A controller whose shots splash behind their target and whose Super is a mortar that shells an area from a distance.
Early game
Aim slightly past the enemy so the splash lands behind them; that is where her damage actually is, and it charges the mortar fast.
Positioning
Play at mid range with the mortar between her and the objective, so she can defend it without walking into the enemy.
Using your Super
Place the mortar where it covers the objective and is screened by a wall — it is a slow area-denial tool, not a burst one.
Common mistakes
- Aiming directly at enemies rather than behind them, which wastes the splash entirely
- Placing the mortar in the open where any brawler removes it in a couple of shots
- Leaving the mortar undefended while she pushes forward alone
- Against enemies hiding behind cover, since her splash reaches around the wall they are using
- Hot Zone and Gem Grab, where a mortar aimed at a fixed point wins the mode slowly
- Chokes, where the splash catches the second and third brawler behind the first
