2v2, one active per side
Tag Team
Knock out the enemy side when only one brawler per team is on the field at a time.
Rules
- Only one brawler per team is out; the other waits and comes in when you tag.
- A benched brawler keeps whatever health it left on, so tagging out early preserves a body.
- The tag has a cooldown — it is a resource to spend, not a way out of every bad trade.
- Losing both of your brawlers loses the round.
Team archetypes
Opener and closerA safe poke brawler to build a health lead and a burst brawler to cash it in.
Double bruiserTwo mid-health brawlers who each survive long enough to make the tag matter.
Range and diveA long-range brawler that forces the approach and an assassin that punishes it.
Playing it well
- Tag on a health threshold you decide before the round, not on panic.
- Punish their tag animation — the swap is the most predictable moment in the mode.
- Do not spend a Super to finish someone who is about to tag out anyway.
- Track which of their two is hurt; the round is decided by whose second brawler is healthier.
