Storm controlRecommended build

The default: a storm on the objective that both damages and hides your team.

Star PowerRude Sandsthe storm does real damage rather than just hiding people
GadgetSweet Dreamsthe slow stops anyone leaving the storm
GearExhausting Stormdirectly upgrades the Super his whole kit is built on
GearDamagehis sand attack pierces and hits a whole line
HyperchargeSwift Windsa storm that covers an entire objective
Healing stormRecommended build

When the team needs sustain more than damage and will camp inside the storm.

Star PowerHealing Windsturns the storm into a moving safe zone for three players
GadgetSleep Stimulatorkeeps him alive when the storm is on the team, not on him
GearHealthhe holds a mid position and gets chipped constantly
GearShieldhe is the target the moment the storm drops
Zone holderRecommended build

Hot Zone, where a storm on the circle makes contesting it nearly impossible.

Star PowerRude Sandsthe circle costs health to stand in
GadgetSweet Dreamsholds contesters inside the damage
GearExhausting Storma bigger storm covers more of the circle
GearSuper Chargethe storm should never be down during a hold
HyperchargeSwift Windsblankets the whole zone at once

How to play it

Play at the edge of your own storm where you can see out and they cannot see in, rather than standing in the middle of it.

Drop the storm on the objective your team needs to hold, not on the enemy — its value is concealment over time, not the damage tick.

Common mistakes

  • Placing the storm on the enemy team, which hides them rather than your own team
  • Standing deep inside the storm where he cannot see the fight either
  • Holding the Super instead of maintaining constant storm uptime on the point

Reviewed recommendations, not win rates: Brawl Stars never reports which loadout a player had equipped in a match, so nobody can measure one.
