SilencerRecommended build

Against a marksman or a support whose Super decides the fight if it ever comes out.

Star PowerStencil Gluea longer silence is more seconds where their best brawler cannot fire back at all
GadgetPhat Splatterwider blobs make a three-projectile volley land on someone who is moving
GearDamagethree blobs a volley multiplies the bonus three times
GearSuper Chargethe silence is the reason he is picked
HyperchargeSilent Stunnera silence that also stops them walking out of it
Lane pokeRecommended build

Maps where he never gets a clean silence and has to win the nine-tile trade instead.

Star PowerInk Refillshis three blobs at nine tiles are what he actually does all match, and volume decides that trade
GadgetDormant Starreaches a target sitting behind cover his straight blobs cannot get to
GearHealthhe has no dash and 3,600 to work with
GearReload Speedhis 1.5-second reload caps his chip
Goal silencerRecommended build

Brawl Ball, where a silenced carrier cannot shoot the ball at all.

Star PowerStencil Gluethe carrier has to hold the ball for the whole silence rather than shoot it away
GadgetPhat Splattercovers the goal mouth so the carrier cannot walk around the paint
GearSuper Chargehe wants a silence for every attack on his goal
GearShieldhe defends from inside his own half
HyperchargeSilent Stunnerstops the carrier and the escort in the same cast

How to play it

At the back of his lane with a wall to step behind, since 3,600 health and no mobility means his blobs are the only thing keeping anyone away.

Silence the brawler whose Super is about to come out, not the one who is lowest, because it takes away an ability rather than dealing damage.

Common mistakes

  • Silencing a tank whose damage barely matters instead of their marksman
  • Firing all three blobs at maximum range where they spread past a single target
  • Holding the Super for a kill when it should be cancelling a push

Reviewed recommendations, not win rates: Brawl Stars never reports which loadout a player had equipped in a match, so nobody can measure one.
